Briefly we cover what our plan is re: the Inquisition and Fester tells us where his goal is for his courier job; the Red District. As we travel there, we find that there are farms that are unsown dirt fields for worms and livestock and green for freshly planted or ready to harvest crops.

We do a quick check for people following us, mercenaries, people, but we don’t find anything important. It’s mostly normal people and one guy walking his young worm. His yorm if you will.

We arrive and Fester goes in to deliver the lube and condoms and gets his pay. The Matron tells Fester about the delights they have on offer, and about their half-orc with the largest penis in the district. There is also an incredibly oiled up dwarf with long, straight, bleach blonde hair, glowing amber eyes and dark brown skin. Only four foot one and slender, but oily and gleaming. Fester watches as one of the doors opens and a female half-orc comes out whipping themselves with a towel and a very drained looking human comes out after her.

Whilst we are at the Grain we get some drinks and order a worm for the table. As we are sitting, some mercenaries come in and start discussing amongst themselves. Anatole and I overhear them discuss their day, roughing up civilians, shake-downs, normal mercenary things – just overall being phallic cunts. As we’re about to stop listening to them because they suck, “Those cunts at the notice boards got away, hopefully the boss believes us when we tell them that we dealt with it.”

One of them turns to us, “Isn’t those the notice board guys.” One comes up to us, hands raised, non-hostile and admits that they were paid to murder us.

Anatole tells them we would prefer to not be murdered. I throw my mosquitoes at this man and he does not enjoy it, nor does he seem to be sufficiently scared off by it. Anatole tries to be diplomatic about it and I say we should kill this man and his friends.

During the ensuing discussion we find out that they were definitely employed by the Inquisition to kill anyone who tried to find the stash who wasn’t the intended user.  We head upstairs to the bedrooms, and I find a room with a door that is ajar, and the room has a hallway that leads into other bedrooms. Under the table I find that Zariah (the owner of the Golden grain) will let the Inquisition into the southern rooms and put select individuals into those rooms for easy access to be kidnapped by the Inquisition.

The most upcoming one is Norwise Quillrock a male gnome merchant for tomorrow night. The instructions say to wait until 3am for a pass phrase “The Lady’s fire cleanses” to be spoken as a drink order and we will be given sleeping poison. The Inquisition agent has to enter the room and apply the poison, and Zariah will provide a way out through the establishment’s basement. Zariah is certainly facilitating kidnapping.

I go find Fester and Anatole and wake them, to tell them what I’ve found out about the Inquisition and the Kidnapping racket.

The next day we make it to Lord Rex’s estate and give him our various evidences, Anatole and I explain what we found at the Grain, and I describe what we discovered over in Fleavale.

The Elite Forces come back to us and there is a man in a hat and he calls himself Remi because his name is so long. Anatole asks if anyone wants to try a mutagen. I also agree. Weird.

I ask the Lord Rex about the skill levels of mages in town and where they congregate. And briefly we discuss that most mages are still at the capital.

We cover that the basic plan is team two (headed by Balthazar) will go reclaim the Golden Grain, Kon (as Kris) will go to the Imp’s Falcon and join the Inquisition under cover to be backed up by us and the elite Team one headed by Remi and the three spearmen.
