Hilda
The room was still dark, but quiet. “What the fuck just happened?” Hilda snapped as she caught her breath and took in the view of the room. She couldn’t guess how many bodies lay littered around the great hall that moments ago was filled with laughing guests. All she knew was that only members of her crew now stood.
“We take to act,” Bishop Keyes said firmly.
Hilda stepped over a dead body as she moved to the bishop, and than smacked him with the back of her hand, knocking him onto his ass. “That was not part of the plan.”
“The king wanted them dead,” the bishop muttered as he rubbed his face. “I was just following orders,” he said, and than stood.
“I gave no such order, and the king placed me in command,” Hilda growled at the bishop. She turned her head as the sounds of gun fire went off throughout the estate. “The king wanted them alive, he wanted to use them,” she hissed.
Bishop Keyes scoffed. “The king wanted them dead. He wants all Furse dead, and he gave the Order commands to ensure that such a thing came to be. Maybe if you listened to him instead of letting him climb between your legs…”
Hilda closed her fist on knocked him on his ass again with a solid punch. The emergency lighting came on, and she could see the blood pouring down his face as he lay next to the body of a small child.
“You whore,” he hissed through what must have been a mouth missing teeth. “You have no right, you will pay for this, not even that fool can save you.”
“What did you say?” Hilda asked as she pulled her pistol from her holster once again, and pointed it at the bishop.
“You… You can’t,” he hissed at her, and Hilda could see the blood spray out of his mouth. “I’m a bishop. Your soul will be damned.” He looked away, and at some of the other gathered around. “Someone stop her, I command you…”
“You don’t command anyone,” Hilda hissed. “I warned you what would happen if you disobeyed my orders, and than you do this?” she asked and pointed at the body of the dead child. “And you dare call my king a… fool?”
Bishop Keyes raised his chin. “I am a Bishop of the Fabian Faith. These are heathen scum, and the gods demand they be removed from each and every Commonwealth world!”
“No mister Keyes,” Hilda said calmly. “You are a moron, and coward,” she told him as he opened his mouth, and than pulled the trigger on her pistol, and watched his head explode.
Hilda let out several long breaths before she looked around the room. Her staff stood with weapons drawn, aimed at members of the bishops own staff, most who looked on in disbelief. “Children,” she hissed.
“What do you want done with them?” Captain Atwood asked Hilda as he held his side arm at the head of a member of the Bishops staff.
“Arrest them, arrest anyone who had a connection to this, and I Want a sit rep. Get in touch with the ‘Jade Grip’ I want to know what the fuck is happening,” she said as the sounds of explosions, and gun fire continued. “Get power back online, and setup a command post here in the estate until we know what the fuck is happening out there.”
